As much as we’d like to avoid it, fundraising is often one of the PTA’s core activities. With money, the PTA can really make things happen, and the extra funds raised by parent groups can make a huge difference to the resources a school can provide for children. In addition, fundraising events can bring the whole community together and give children the message that their education is really worth investing in.
