TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE DIFFERENCE!

What is the NZPTA?

NZPTA works to support PTA’s and other similar groups within schools around New Zealand.  We are here to help promote effective partnerships between parents, teachers and school management.

Our main objectives are to support PTA’s with routine business, assist schools who don’t have a PTA but would like to start one, provide relevant and helpful information relating to the education system, and support schools with their fundraising efforts.

Joining the NZPTA is easy, and it’s free!   We realise many PTA’s are facing a similar set of challenges, and we are striving to create meaningful connections amongst our members in order to find realistic and sustainable solutions to these challenges.  If your school isn’t yet a member, register here today to gain access to our community of like-minded people.

Why Become A Member?

Every school benefits from parents being involved at school, but how does your school encourage and support parents? Joining NZPTA is free and is a practical way for you to encourage and strengthen parental involvement at your school. A successful PTA provides parents and teachers with the opportunity to exchange views, work together and to develop mutual trust and confidence. The NZPTA supports this success with a wide range of information and practical guidance as well as having many other member benefits.
